Dealing with people is probably the biggest problem you face, especially if you are in business. Yes, and that is also true if you are a housewife, architect or engineer. – Dale Carnegie
Tips to Improve your Customer Service
Use their Name. Remember everyone loves to hear their own name. It makes them feel special.
Be a good Listener. Don’t make it about you. You will learn a lot about your client if you just take a moment to close your mouth and listen to what they have to say.
FORM. Ask questions about your client – get to know what makes them tick beyond the job or their business. What matters to them? Ask about their family, occupation, recreation and message (FORM).
Smile. This can go a long way – even when you are just on the telephone.
Give Value. Shock clients by going above and beyond, instead of the bare minimum.
Thank You. Send a handwritten thank you note to your most valuable clients. You can even include a simple gift, which goes a long way. This is just to say thank you for being awesome and supporting your business.
